The 2026 MIND Symposium offers an opportunity to support Colors of the Brain Summer 2026 scholars and learn more about undergraduate neuroscience research at UC San Diego. The afternoon will feature research presentations from our scholars, as well as alumni and keynote speaker Dr. Lucy Lai.

2026 Scholar Presentations
This year’s presentations will highlight research spanning a range of neuroscience topics, including:
- Neural organoids and spike synchrony
- High-throughput screening using CaMPARI
- Touch and infant-directed aggression
- Astrocytic neurexin-1
- Prosocial decision-making
- Sonogenetics and pharmaceutical alternatives
- Cognitive decision-making
- We especially encourage UC San Diego students, staff, researchers, friends, and family to attend and help us celebrate the achievements of this year’s scholars.
