KIBM Distinguished Visitor Daniel Geschwind, Professor of Neurology & Psychiatry Gordon and Virginia MacDonald, Distinguished Professor of Human Genetics David Geffen School of Medicine, UCLA, visited UCSD. Dr. Geschwind’s visit included two talks, Understanding Humans: From Genes to Brains and Diseases" and "Developmental Vulnerability to Neurodegeneration", along with numerous meetings and lab tours with members of the local research community. KIBM also hosted a pre-visit discussion lead by David Kang and Pascal Gagneux, to discuss Dr. Geschwind’s most recent discoveries.
